Like I predicted she caved in when members from her party pulled their support of her , and the outrage it caused across the country.

Evolution is here to stay in GA.

You gotta be shittin' me! As George Orwell once wrote in 1984:

WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH

What next? Teaching 'Christian' science (no, not the religion of the same name!), 'Christian' mathematics, 'Christian' English, ad nauseam.

Over sixty years ago a similar education movement flourished in Germany, perverted and promoted by the Nazi party. In an effort to rid the educational system of 'Jewish' influences and pushing an agenda of whacked out science (eugenics) it completely screwed up the German educational system.

Just some drivel I'm copied from some idiot who posted on the subject:

But it is still a theory, and theories should not be included in public education, actually nothing should be included in public education, but especially things that are theories. Well I mean they can be presented just not presented as scientific fact.

Actually, the do have text books that are Christina based. My Aunt who homeschools her children (because the public school system is the Devil and will corrupt her kids because it's full of heathens...) teaches her kids science from Christen based text books. They books don't teach evolution. I don't know what the rest of them are like.

My uncle (by marriage...thankfully I am not related to him by blood) gave me this huge lecture once because I took a class in highschool called science in society and we discussed evolution and Darwin.
Interesting fact though...Darwin actually believed in God.

Oh wow! Who wrote this?

Facts always started out as theories. Obviously some panned out and some didn't. If we shouldn't teach theories in school. What the hell are kids supposed to do all day. Sit in class from 9-4 and stare at the walls?
