Cool

I read that book! It was good. I also read the follow up. The author is a member of Delta Sigma Theta, and the descriptions of the sororities were hillarious at times. Stereotypes ran rampant through the book. Is there a 3rd book in the series?

I met Ms. Butler a couple of months ago. She is the sweetest! She does tour if any one is interest in having her come to their school to speak at an event.
Her book was the bomb, the bond between the line sister was so tight. Sigh.... one day...

Smile T. J. Butler's new book

I was walking in Barnes and Nobles yesterday and saw that T.J. Butler has a new book called "Hand-me-down-heartbreak" or something of that nature. It seemed really good and it should be worth buying for the simple fact that the first chapter is set at Chauncey and Don's (remember them from the first book?) wedding. And all 5 of the ladies were, of course, at the wedding, and T.J. caught us up on what's been going on in their lives, I won't spoil it for you, but it's interesting. I think this is something we should support, Ms. Butler is a good author.

Talking I did too

I bought it over a year ago and read it the same day.

All I could think was....Ohhh I wanna feel like that

But I really enjoyed how they formed such a strong bond, and how much they found out about themselves.

I read Sorority Sisters this summer and loved it. It's one of those books that you can't put down untill your done reading it. I loved the fact that she showed non-greeks how close you can become to your line sisters during the time you pledge. I loved the fact that the girls were so different but became good friends throughout the book. I would love to see this as a movie.
