"IF" the engine is turning over but not starting, Try The Heet Treatment as gives is a sharp boost of Higher Rating than gas. It will also help keep water down in the gas tank.

If the engine doesnt turn over, it is the battery. If it turns over, check the charge idiot light, altenator. If it just go Clickity, clickity, it is the selanoid.

Well, since I am mechanically Challenged, ignor all of the aboer and get a Honda!

Really strange car problem...

I'm reasonably savvy in a lot of areas involving cars, but what just happened to me is really strange...

I had just gotten on an expressway on the way to an appointment when the gas guage started fluxuating. Then the Speedometer just stopped working (including odometer), then the Check Engine light came on...

But the most bizarre thing is that the transmission (auto in this car) stopped shifting up. So I got to drive it off the freeway in low gear.

Gotta be something electrical.

Now, for Catch 22.

I have an extended warranty, including roadside towing. Unfortunately, I have to take it back to the dealership (it's a used car) where I bought it if it's within 40 miles. It's at home now, a little over 30 miles away. BUT, the roadside towing service only pays for the first 25 miles.

UGH!!!!
