alphie1851, thanks for the link.
I had no idea that Ashley Judd was a KKG. Pretty cool.
I have to say that as far as all the greek sororities go, the total list is pretty impressive of all our famous greeks. Go Us!!!!

Yes, she was the first one! At the Convention after she was appointed, the favor was a dollar bill, hand autographed by Mrs. Neff! (no, I don't have one, I just thought that was cool!)

Actually, she was the Treasurer of the United States; she was the first female. More info on the Treasurer of the United States:

oh I just found out that Kathy Nail is actually Kate Capshaw. I was reading greek101.com and they listed both names and of course I'm thinking 'Kathy Nail, actress, who the heck is she'. Well, another GC member mentioned on another thread that they are one in the same. So there we go and now we know. LOL.
speaking of I just watched Steven Speilberg give the award away for best picture. He he. No wonder I was thinking of her cause that's her hubby.

Yeah, and as he was walking out on the stage all I was thinking was "His wife's my sister!!!" I almost said as much to my mom, but she probably wouldn't have gotten how exciting that is to me!

I was totally thinking the same thing last night as I was watching The District. Jean Smart was guest starring and I was like 'she's my sister'. And of course I have to brag about it every moment I get.
My mom was like 'you just like her because of Scarlett' (the mini-series that she starred in back in like 1995 I think) and I'm like 'yes, I like her because of that and Sweet Home Alabama but mostly because she's my sister.'

Jett Williams,
Hank Williams Sr.'s daughter was an Eta and Univ of Alabama in the 70's. Her name at the time was Cathy Duepree I believe. If you remember Deana Carter dont forget our other country singer!

Let's not forget:

Judy Woodruff (CNN Correspondent)

This is on IMDB.com (internet movie database) and answer that question...

Not according to the list of chapters I have...we only have one chapter in RI, and that'd be at the University of Rhode Island (which if I'm not mistaken, was FirstAndFinest's alma mater!)
