But I think that even though there are groups that have more name recognition, non-Greek people mostly recognize them for shallow reasons. Even if people recognize Chi O before TPA, I doubt that they know what Chi O's philanthropy is, where most of their chapters are, or the kind of leadership training they offer.
It's like a band getting a big buzz in Rolling Stone and people saying "oh yes, I have heard of the Screaming Kittens" without ever having heard any of the band's actual music.
