And Achtung, you're really gonna take pronunciation smack from the Brits? They really don't so much speak the language as they chew it up and spit it out.

Hey a lot of the Brits say the same thing about Southerners (well and Newfies).

As uneducated as those of y'all North of the Mason-Dixon line think we sound, those that talk with a cockney accent sound like they weren't born so much as congealed in a gutter somewhere.

Don't knock the Brits. They have great cuisine.

Oh, but I love accents! Guys with accents are **dreamy** I once briefly dated a Kiwi while I lived in London and I just loved to sit there and hear him talk. mmmmmmmmmm
And I didn't mean to turn this thread into a North/South debate, I just wondered if part of the reason W pronounces nuclear like he does was a regional thing--like how some areas of the country call the big cushy thing you sit on in the living room a couch, some call it a sofa, some call it a davenport, etc. . . And it appears it probably isn't a regional thing, more likely a personal thing.

Or possibly even a shindig or lollapalooza.
Perhaps it'll be a hootshinpaloozaree. I don't know.

I didn't either, merely sayin that i fyou're going on a continuum of the least educated sounding accents, the cockney accent has the Southern accent beat 361 times over.

Dean War Cry = Terrifying on so many levels (but late night television & radio talk show gold!). Yeah, I know...he has a cold. *sniff* Too bad for him.
