Hi Ladies - sorry for crashing your forum, but I'm am thrilled to find out tonight that my niece was offered one of a very few COB bids for AGD at her school. She is SO excited and AGD has made a very wise choice - she is awesome!
My question is that I would like to send her something - maybe an AGD sweatshirt or something - but I'm not sure if AGD has any rules about new members wearing letters, etc (I know KD doesn't, but it seems that some GLO's do). Any suggestions of a good "welcome to the sisterhood" gift??
Thanks in advance and congratulations to AGD and my niece!

When in doubt, squirrels, pearls and red and yellow/buff roses will do the trick!!
What school does she attend?
Tell her about GC!

i can't think of any rules about new members not wearing letters. i know in my chapter we were allowed to wear letters from day one on.

The only thing new members cannot wear are our armorial bearings. Getting her a letter shirt, sweatshirt, bookbag, lavalier, etc. would all be faboulous ideas!

Red and Buff Roses to your niece! I'm sure she would love a lettered sweatshirt or a lavaliere...plush squirrels are a very popular new member gift, too!
I remember you told me that she loved Alpha Gam during formal, I'm so glad that we bid her! It sounds like a great match all around!
