ETA: Plus, we've been having bad drought lately here in Southern Africa. Which is making my job harder with stupid Mugabe also around.

Our boss's wife was telling us the other day that in America last year, on average, temperatures were actually below normal for the entire year.

But I feel sorry for the other parts of BC that got down to -40 with the windchill.
Okay I can't resist

-12 to -15 AFTER windchill? Hehehehehehe, I can see it now, Vancouverites in toques and mitts.

Sorry but it was -35 after windchill here.

Yep, it's freaking cold here!

I had a hockey game outside today and my poor girls were so cold!! We even had to have an intermission to warm them up. I thought out goalies toes were going to fall off.

And, if I recall correctly from science classes, at -40, Celcius and Farenheit converge!

I live at the tippy top of Florida, and it was 22 last night.

If I wanted to deal with cold weather, I would have spent my winter break in NYC.

I forgot to turn the heat on last night and it was 64 degrees in my apartment when I woke up. That's not too bad but when you're tired and it's 7am, it's miserable. Last weekend, it was 82 degrees and sunny; spent Saturday and Sunday out by the pool. This weekend, I had to wear 3 layers everywhere I went.
