I don't know how much they run because the video we show is old. It was bought way before I got in and we need a new one.

It basically showed how activities such as interviews can be done without hazing and how they can go wrong and become hazing. It also showed some extreme forms of hazing that should obviously be avoided.
There is a video called "Friendly Fire" about hazing that we've watched before, and this sounds very much like it. Perhaps it's a Phi Mu video?

Yup, that's the one. I believe it is a Phi Mu video. It's been a while since I've watched it. Do you know if it's required for Phi Mu chapters to own it?

Good advice - I've also seen and heard it put in other ways as well:

"If you wouldn't mind videotaping what you are doing/having done to you, and having your parent's watch it, it isn't hazing."

"If you think the hazing is such a good character-building tool, then why don't you advertise it on your rush posters? 'Come join XYZ fraternity, we'll beat the crap out of you!'"

etc...

Hi, I'm new. I'm new here and I'm new in a fraternity, and our fraternity didn't have any hazing videos or anything like that but the school is saying that this is important stuff so our house decided to make our own video. I did the camera and I recommend this option to all of you because it is a good time. We were just goofing around and showing examples of all the different kinds of hazing and so my buddies like did this scene where we lined up all these guys and then had a guy run down next to them and they all stuck out their knees so that the guy bashed his crotch into them as he ran down, and the funny thing is that he actually did it, he gave it up for the team so that we could have our video. That was strong work, he is a good guy for that. And then we like had this refrigerator that didn't work so we pushed it out of an open window and made it look like it fell on this guy's head (a different guy!) but it didn't actually, although the handle part of the refrigerator door came flying off and hit him in the shin, and AGAIN, he gave it up for the team, and it was strong work. Anyway that's what we did, and I thought it was a great idea and it bonded up strongly.
