PUCK or BALL

I will volunteer to provide the name for the first hockey fraternity (Rho Upsilon Kappa Kappa - PUKK) or first baseball GLO (Beta Alpha Lambda Lambda - BALL).

These are now copyrighted, so send your royalty payments to me@home.

I know at some schools, they flat tell their Atheletes, you will not join a Greek Org. This is the only game in town and you will be a member of it!
And there's a very good reason for this - collegiate athletics are like having a job on top of school. My coach allowed us to go Greek, but there were never more than 2-3 on a team of 170. When you agree to play sports for a school, you're agreeing to the terms of your coach.

Like several others have posted, there's a tendency for teammates to pledge the same house. One of the fraternities at Platteville has been known as the "football frat" for quite a few years, although they're starting to move away from that image.
