This pop up came up and my parent's cd drive and the burner opened at the same time, and the pop up said, if your drives just opened, your computer is at risk I was like WTF?!?!?!?!?

PS. I thought it was something weird too, so I alerted John about it. I think it's that spyware stuff cuz I was getting links to things like car loans, insurance and flowers.com!

Yea me too on the weird links!!! That is scary btw! I can't believe that! I bet its some weird spyware program that tries to get you to click on it...argh whoever came up with this stuff SERIOUSLY sucks!!

OMG this has happened a few minutes ago, except that my cd drive did not open. I got the same pop-up though!

same thing happened to me and in the end i had to use my system recovery disk which I was not too happy about. I had adaware on my computer too but it didnt catch it. Try this:

Its a script that you download and run, it doesnt work all the time because sometimes the files that got downloaded have varied names. Its still worth a try.
