Don't really like all that around my neck. It makes me feel all bunchy.
Then again, I don't like socks for the same reason.

Love them to wear, only I don't like the stand-up kind, and I do not like mock necks at all.
On guys...unless you are skiing or thin, step away from the turtlenecks. Please, please, please.

I LOVE my turtlenecks.  I have a closet full of them. And I'm with librasoul about the leather jacket issue.

I hated them as a kid. I got a few to keep on the fashion train, and found they can be quite functional. I like the chunky ones - I don't like the t-shirt like ones that my teachers used to wear (y'know, the ones where they have a print for every different season)
No turtlenecks on boys for me. I agree with 33girl - for skiing only!

Regular turtlenecks are cool for guys if you have the jawline to pull it off, whcih I dont.

Turtleneck sweaters = good
Cotton turtlenecks circa 1991 = bad
