Sorry Kitso, if it's any consolation I'd rather be in the cold right now.

It's been humid for the past week with no end in sight. Days without the tradewinds are N-A-S-T-A-Y.

No ice this morning but I felt like at one point in time today it MIGHT just actually SNOW! Of course it doesn't help when the center of campus where everyone walks through to their classes is like a wind-tunnel

JUST SAY SNO!

i was like...uhh, wtf is this. i didnt know what to do, so i filled cups of hot water and waited for the ice to melt

We've had to scrape the ash off our cars the last couple days.

But other than that....I'm from San Diego....what's snow?

Got to scrape the car on the way home tonight, but thank goodness for it. The sudden cold snap and precip helped snuff out a couple of fairly dangerous wildfires that started yesterday here in the Denver area. So, at least here, it was good news.

Especially since most of our aerial tankers, and some of our fire crews, are out helping in SoCal.

And DeltAlum, thanks for all the help from your aerial tankers and fire crews....otherwise, I think we'd be clearing ash off of our cars for the next month and the fire would burn all of Southern California and over into Arizona.

Kitso, I remember the days of scraping ice off of the windshield...as a So Cal girl going to school in NW Indiana, there were many days of scraping ice before going anywhere! Hope it warms up a little for you up there...can't have a good 'ole Texas guy freezing his arse off, now can we?
