That is just too cool!! I'm not really into rap (that much, anyhow), but I really liked that!

Violets to DJ $crilla!!

Two sisters and I also made up a cute dance to the chorus.

I emailed him and he said it is from the song "Chooperstyle." Cannot find that anywhere though.

I dont think Eta Beta used it during recruitment but I hear there are plans to use it for SAMS which is a lip singing and dance competition between pledge classes. I'll let you know once I hear anything.

I searched the net and I couldn't seem to find anything (off the bat) so I just played the song a bagillion times. LOL. I'm sure I messed up on words.

------ (If I do this it means I have no clue what he is saying because it was said to quickly)

DJ scrilla
What's up Alpha Delta Pi
Where you at huh?
You all over there?
Check it out
-------- (for like 3-5 lines)

Chorus:

Alpha Delta Pi ladies are sizzling
They rollin' down with their sisters
So you know they glistening
And yes they will attract the guys
Cause they exactly that fine
And I'm a cool cat like Alphie
It ain't no secret what they do to my brothers
DJ Scrilla
Alpha Delta Pi
We live for each other

------ (another couple of "lines" that I have no clue what he is saying)

but when I'm passing by I wave a hi and I sigh
can't hlep asking why they ain't at my school
somebody help the guy
they so cool
Alpha Delta Pi

Chorus

------ (2-3 "lines")

They've been holding down since 51 of the 18th century*
they blessed you see -----
They like to be involved
their laying the spot(?)
Ronald McDonald House that's saying alot

DJ scrilla
Lovin' those ADPi's

Your boy scrilla representing for them Alpha Delta Pi's their so fine

If your an Alpha Delta Pi say oh yeah
If you just stepped by say oh yeah
If your an Alpha Delta Pi say oh yeah
If you just stepped by say oh yeah

Now where my sophomore women at?
Now where my junior women at?
Now where my senior women at?

------
-----
------

Repeat chorus

Now they don't just talk the talk but they walk the walk
they pull up and park it
and roll out the red carpet
Alpha Delta Pi lovely and humble
and since they roll with lions their the queen's of the jungle
seranading your crew your good and stylish
I know their ------ fine and I'm bringing woodland violets
I'm not just making (?) now
so baby take it now
this love I'm giving
go ahead and break it down
across 130 chapters nationwide
Alpha Delta Pi

-------

they want to celebrate with y'all on the 15th of May
and then every other day
this ain't no hearsay baby this is the real way

chorus

*Although the last time I checked the 18th century represented the 1700's and the 19th century represented the 1800's. Brianna is shrugging her shoulders at the mistake.

Maybe it's just me but when I was listening to the song and actually writing down the lyrics I was thinking "hmm some of these lyrics are kind of stupid". LOL. For the most part though, I enjoy the song and the lyrics. Only a couple I was like "okay that's kind of dumb but whatever". LOL

Both Delta Kappa (Penn State) and Gamma Omicron (Susquehanna U) use this song in their recruitment- if the exact words are needed, PM me and I can get them for you.

Wow, maybe I got an "old" version of the lyrics - I was going through old PMs just now, and found these lyrics from DJ Scrilla himself

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They at the spot by the plenty/ So the rocks is in me/
So when I say they're on the block - I don't mean Jenny/
But when they passin by, I waive & "Hi"/
Then I just sigh and start askin why/
They aint my school! please help the guy/
They so cool, Alpha Delta Pi/
And now the new potentials all wanna get them some/
Cuz they been holdin it down since 51/
Of the 18th century/ they vets ya see/
Kinda like mya cuz they get the best of me/
They like to to be involved, they don't just lay in the spot/
Ronald McDonald House, now thats sayin a lot/
rockin azure blue and white, so i ain't new to this/
cuz I also stand for friendship and truthfullness/10
So give me a holla when you see me ride/
DJ $crilla luvin him sum A-D-Pi/
Chorus:
Ya so Eye-brow raisin/ Hot - like cajun/
Just a-mazin / Haters can't phase em/
Alpha Delta Pi oo yea these ladies are sizzilin/
They roll diamond sisters so you know that they are glistenin/
and yes! they will attract thee/
guys, cuz there exactly/ that fine, and I'm a cool cat like Alphie/
It ain't no secret what they did to the brother/
DJ $crilla & Alpha Delta Pi...We live for each other/
------------------------
Verse 2
Now they don't just talk the talk, they walk the walk/
Pull up & park it - roll out the red carpet/
Alpha Delta Pi oh so lovely & humble/
And since ya'll roll with lions, ya'll the queens of the jungle/
Serenadin ya crew, you lookin good and stylish/
I know they are hard to find, but i'm bringin woodland violets/
Now I ain't fakin now, so take this now/
love that im given and break it down/8
Across 130 chapters nationwide/
Ooo Alpha Delta Pi..Ooo they just that live/
And up on bid day, girls sayin bid me/
They wanna celebrate with ya'll on the 15th/
Of May, and every other day
Nah it ain't hear say, this is the real way/
If you search DJ Scrilla online, go to his myspace page and you can download the rap to your phone. You type in your cell number and it will download. They even give instructions on to access it depending on your 1) phone and 2) plan (like verizon phones have a different set of instructions).
