Yeah I feel that - back in the 50's and 60's greek life and house plans (apparently they were very similar to glo's - they "rushed" for new members also) were hugely popular. when i was doing research for our chapter 50th anniversary it seems like half the school was involved as opposed to the 1-2% today. nowadays i feel like city kids incorrectly think of sororities and fraternities for jocks, preps, prom queens and valley girls and you can only have the real experience if you live in a big house. i feel these misconceptions hurt city/commuter chapters the most.
