my sister had to learn this song in grade school so it sounds super familiar but I've never learned it before

I learned the states just by memorization but did learn the song soon after. My 5th grade teacher told us that he had to recite them all and the capitals I think in order to graduate to 6th grade. And in geographical order. Eek!

I don't know this song, but I learned the Preamble to the Constitution from Schoolhouse Rock. Does that count?

My sister bought the Schoolhouse Rock tapes for my daughters and they are so impressed that I know the words to most of those songs! For one brief, shining moment I was actually cool in their eyes

I remember the song too. 5th grade. Can still do it too. Really fast too. Amazing bar trick.
