Okay, here's the final word on toilet seats!

When my cleaning lady finishes the bathrooms she leaves the seats and covers down . I have never given her instructions one way or another. She is obviously a professional in the toilet seat placement area so I say we defer to her.

Sound good?

And one time, my friend decided to leave the toilet seat up. I, thinking that I was putting the lid down (it was dark, and late) I put my pajama pants on the seat. Except, it wasn't the seat. IT WAS THE WATER!!!!!

There are a million reasons to keep toilet seats and lids down.

The main two:

Sanitary reasons.

Aestheic reasons.

Nice snotty comment! No matter how much water you have out for cats, they're curious animals and get into things (like toilets) if you're not careful.

If it's so meaningless, how about giving up your bathroom and peeing in a ditch outside?

The Crappers of Europe, Continental are Very Far different that what We as North Americans are used to!

If there are Partners in a household, then get 2 facilities!

After using the washroom...

Women - put the lid down!
Men - put the lid and the seat down!

It's the same action for both genders!

That said ... we're learning to always keep the lid down in my apartment because my kittycat has decided that toilet water is the tasty-est out there.... eewwwww....

I think she just meant that it isn't a die-hard issue that needs getting passionate about.

so um yeah...this is the opposite situation for me and my best friend (who lives with me). he always is on my case about putting the lid down and i always leave it up!! he never leaves the bathroom without putting it down...so i guess i am the problem. i never even thought of this until i read the post!! hehe!! kinda funny!!
