I bet they do have copies of the CD. Since all the money from the CD sales is going to their scholarship fund, we really need to encourage everyone to buy from their chapter.

I just took a chance and mailed a check for $12.50 (for the cd) to:

I have the sister's name, but I don't want to put it on the Internet - pm me.

Also, make the check payable to Alpha Pi chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. That includes postage.

A sister from our chapter wrote a song called We Live for Each Other, and it is absolutely amazing. It is so special to our chapter, and gets everyone crying when they hear it, especially during pref. ceremony. Although I never knew the woman who wrote, I have heard great things about her. This song just really expresses our sisterhood and how we love each other. Like I said, it's amazing.

My chapter sings "I love the Pin" ALL the time (every formal meeting, any special occasion, etc. etc.). We even will kind of break out in song sometimes it's funny when a bunch of us are eating dinner someplace or something.

Does anyone else's chapter do this?

For Pref ceremony we have a sister in our chapter sing the song Heirlooms. It's an Amy Grant song, but the words have been changed to ADPi words. It's a really awesome song. Anyone ever heard it?

When we close pref we sing "Sisters" also known as "Friends." "And a sister is forever, just believe in ADPI." ("Friends are friends forever....")

I like this thread and I like to sing ADPi songs... ALL the time, so I figured I would bump it.

One of my favorite songs is, well I don't know what's it's called, but it goes like this...

I wanted to bump this up, because I have a question...

there is a song my chapter used to do and i am trying to get the lyrics for it... and no one seems to have them... so i am wondering if any of you might...

it is an adaptation of the song Follow Me by John Denver...

The version we sang began:

Follow us where we go, what we do and who we know
Make it a part of you to be a part of us
Follow us up and down, all the way and all around
Take our hand and we will follow too.

Its been a long long time...

And this is where I am stuck...

The onld adpi song site online has a version of it, but it isn't the way we sang it... So I am curious if anyone out there has it...

My chapter sang "Now and Forever" during Prefs. It will always make me think of ADPi.

When we moved from Skits to Videos during recruitment, our Video theme was "A League of Their Own" and as that song is played in the movie, we included it on our video, too

So "Now and Forever, you are a part of me..." ADPi!

My chapter used "Now and Forever" to welcome the rushees (that's what they were then) into the house. When I was there a month ago, they were still using it to welcome in the PNMs. I was singing along just like it was 10 years ago.

I love that song.

We also used to sing the song that goes, "'cause we're bonded, in Alpha Delta Pi". We were always told that it was written by a sister at Sam Houston SU. I love that song, also. They are still using it at my old chapter. I sang along to that song, too.
