I like to just put the girl in a bear hug as I fall asleep.

I agree with the temperature issue also. I cannot sleep if I'm being touched at all. It's just impossible. I believe you do your business, cuddle for a few minutes, and then you get on your side of the bed, I get on mine, and we don't meet in the middle. My ex of 3 1/2 years would try to cuddle in the morning and wake me up. That just made me mad and I'd be cranky the rest of the day. Even at the end of the relationship, he'd still try it and I'd still get mad. Leave me the hell alone when I'm trying to sleep!!!! Okay, that's just my view.... next!

Lawd, where are you ladies finding these cuddle-happy men? I can't get enough of a guy holding me, and a lot of the guys I run across aren't into it. My last boyfriend was so hot it should have been illegal, and very sweet, but he was also the world's lightest sleeper. If I so much as rolled over in my sleep, he'd wake up grouchy and have trouble going back to sleep. And totally forget about drifting off during any kind of physical contact; he could only fall asleep on the other side of the bed, holding a pillow...

You should have punched him in the back of the head. He would be all scared and think he had a nightmare and want to cuddle.

I love cuddling, awake, asleep, it doesn't matter. There's no better place than falling asleep in a guy's arms.

My hubby is a cuddler (is that a word?), even after we go to sleep. He's not always aware of what he is doing, and is a pretty heavy sleeper, so when his cuddling bothers me I just move his arm and go back to sleep. I'm used to it by now, so I don't make a big deal out of it. The only thing I hate is when he wants to rub his hairy legs on mine! EWWWWWWW. Hubby will also
So, my suggestion is just move his arm and roll over. If you want to keep sleeping with him I think your body will adjust and you will go back to sleep quickly!

I like to cuddle while sleeping if its cold enough. If I wake up or she wakes up I will move to my side the bed.

Mmm... laying in the "nook" (that area right under your shoulder) is the best... my fiance is stationed overseas and I miss the nook oh-so-much!

I'm a big cuddler, and so is Dude. Most nights, I fall asleep with my head on his chest, and his arms around me. He calls me his little space heater. Also, it might not be too bad for us because we're both what can be described as "skinny."

Yeah I distantly remember a girlfriend like that.
I hate to break it to you but eventually a head is just so much dead weight lol.
Its like when my cat used to sleep on my chest staring at me. He was easier to break of the habit than girls. . .

I am what my husband refers to as a "touch-me-not".

cuddling rocks as you drift off to sleep, but honestly it's uncomfortable after your asleep, its better to be able to move however your dreams make you

I've TRIED compromising with him and being like, "Let's just cuddle right as we're drifting off to sleep." He claims that he doesn't realize that he's cuddling with me at night. So cute. But, I believe that we can control a lot of the things we do subconsciously and in our sleep. I dunno. I guess there's not a solution to this. I will spend the rest of eternity trying to roll him back over to his side of the bed whenever he tries that in the middle of the night. It's like trying to move a log. So, I guess I'm just taking a poll of who enjoys cuddling.

My name is KillarneyRose and I am not a cuddler!
Try this, ZTAngel, it might help a bit! Mr. KR will snuggle up to me when we're going to sleep and put his arm over me or whatever and I go into immediate claustrophobia mode! So I say to him, "Can I hold you instead?" and he rolls over with his back to me and I put my arm around him. Sometimes I fall asleep that way, sometimes he drifts off first and then I roll over. But either way it works out, at least you won't be losing circulation in various body parts!!!

amen to that!
as to the topic @ hand...there's a way to do it with the boys arm underneath your neck, you laying on your side with your head on the pillow (face almost in his neck) and him on his back...
i always find that highly comfortable. you can fall asleep in it, and if you wake up and want out it's easy to roll away...
but then again i'm all about the cuddling no matter when!
