the father didn't know she was arrested. IT said in the article that he had to track her down and then she told him about the daughter.

a 2 year old girl would not be as independent as she is if she wasn't left alone every day. most 2 year olds cry for food and can't figure out to get it on their own
I try to remember that everyone is innocent until proven guilty...

I was trying to think of ALL the instances that could have maybe possibly (to the nth degree possible) that something may have happened to the mother....Did she step outside to get the mail, and get kidnapped? Did someone abduct the mother at gunpoint from the door? Did she get locked out of the house and, while seeking out help, get hit by a car, and lay in a coma in a hospital somewhere, without any identification???

I know, I know, it's all speculatory and far-fetched, but I really want to believe that this was accidental....

And if you get a phone call from jail (or is that folklore), she couldn't call anyone to tell them about the baby???

I was just hoping that she had extenuating circumstances that were the cause for this act of negligence....

What a terrible mother to leave her child alone for three weeks when she was in prison.

I don't think that the father is to blame in this situation.

That girl is pretty amazing and resourceful.

I saw her and her father on the news last night and she is such a beautiful little girl! She looked wonderful for living on condiments and pasta for 3 weeks!
