Hi Jackie!
Lucy let me know she received your donations, and I have matched each one- and again, I have directed her to keep me informed of any additional ones- but you all have to put "Greek chat Challenge" on the memo section so that she knows that I am matching. If any of you on this posting thread have donated, please pm me with the check numbers and amounts, and I will forward to Lucy to match- but she will not match unless the database shows a donation being received.
If you wish to check your match status, you may email lucy or call her at the executive office. PM me for her info.
So, I'm still open to donations from both new and existing members of Foundation. For those of you who are on a really tight budget, but have not given before, please consider sending in even 5.00 per year- believe me it makes a huge difference when we all act together to strengthen our sisterhood.

Audrey, you're incredible!
Any idea how much in donations you've matched so far?

I matched *your* match Audrey hehehehe !!!

thanks again, Pam and Audrey!

Jackie- Lucy let me know about your additional pledge,
however Pam- you may want to touch base with Lucy about yours- if you did it electronically, I'm not sure she saw it, and she emails me whenever she has something to match. For anyone else who may have given, thank you! And for those who have not but want to, the offer is still open.

Sent Lucy an Email
Ok Audrey (hardly a PhiMuAntique ....I sent our incredibly wonderful Lucy an email about my latest donation. I think she will be emailing you soon.
Everyone else...don't overlook that donations to Phi Mu Foundation can easily be made electronically via the Phi Mu website using a major credit card. It is secure and safe

I think at this point we all need to step back, take a deep breath and reflect for a minute.
Giving to Foundation is an act of giving...a gift of love. I do notice at times it can escalate to a "I give more than you do" contest. I know, I found myself falling into that trap a few years ago. No way I could compete with some of our more financially gifted members.
I have learned to give to my ability with a slight stretch to it each year. BUT if I *ever* hit that lottery...Foundation will be my first big recipient!!!!
Each dollar is a dollar more than before, and it all adds up! Taking advantage of Audrey's match was more a fun joke between friends as much as taking advantage of her checkbook !!!!
So...each of us, give cause we love to give! Skip lunch and send in the money one day each month and soon it will all add up!

Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum...so I am enjoying reading the posts as of late. I joined about a month ago, but haven't really had time to read any, but finally sat myself down in front of the computer and read. I will be sending a check tomorrow!

A sister from my own chapter!
Hey Erica!
I'm so happy to see your post! A girl from my own chapter- :sniff, sniff: I think I'm going to cry!
Because you believed, and because I want you to know how much I appreciate your donation, I'm going to email Lucy and tell her to tripe your pledge, whatever it was. It is something special for me to see one of my own step forward and make Phi Mu Foundation a financial priority. I know it's not easy, especially when the economy is so tight. Now, let's talk to the rest of the chapter!
(just kidding- you guys have done a great job on Sir Fidel Circle the past 3 years- 100% participation from the chapter every year! Outstanding.)
I'm so proud of you!!! See you at Carnation Ball in April, if not before for deferred recruitment.
Audrey

YAY!
Hi Audrey...
When I was reading through all of the posts and came across numerous posts made by you, I kind of thought that it might be you. But it also got me thinking that there could be another Audrey here. But I'm glad it's you....yay for Beta Psi. I am planning on mentioning it to the chapter about joining this forum...just to interact with Phi Mus all over the country. I already spoke with Gretchen and told her about it and I believe she said she is planning on joining soon!
I can't wait for the Carnation Ball...it is going to be GREAT! I am definitely looking forward to meeting you.
LIOB,
Erica

One more Beta Psi Sister
Thanks to Erica, Gretchen has arrived! I am SO excited to see the sisterhood in action online! It's early in the morning now, and I have yet to go to bed... so I've just scanned some threads... but, so far, I'm blown away, and very excited to be here!
You'll see a check from me soon, but I'll be in touch when 'soon' takes on an exact date. Just have to hear yay or nay about a job, and pay my dues before I know where I stand. But, I'm very excited!
So, I'll be in touch but wanted to let you know I think you have a fabulous offer on the table that it's just too good to pass up. Your an inspiration Audrey.
I'm so proud to be a Phi Mu!
Long Live Beta Psi,
Gretchen
OH, and to the Bueuler comment.. I laughed. 'Anyone? Anyone?'
And I think I too will save time, a check, and a stamp, and use our website-- thanks for the tip!

Why you qualify
You all qualify because I know and love you! he he he.
Lucy will match later this week, thanks for the heads up.
And thanks Gretchen and Erica, I swear you must be from my family tree- but I'm so old (yes, in Beta Psi world I am truly an antique!) I don't think you could follow the roots back far enough to find the connection. But I had 3 "little sisters" and an adopted one at the time who came in from another chapter, so it's very possible.
For the non Beta Psi members, The offer is still open- there is still some work to do on the total match. I'm still in the game, because it's for the strength of the whole, and we are always stronger collectively than we ever could be as a single chapter. This my friends is the true advantage of a national bond.
