Thumbs up

Hey all! I just finished reading "Milk in My Coffee" and I thoroughly enjoyed this one too! There were fewer story lines than in "Cheaters" but I loved it just the same. Today, I'm going to pick up "Liar's Game". I will try not to read it for another few weeks (I'm so addicted to his books, that I'm starting to fall behind in my school reading!) Can't have that, so I'll store it away for now.
Now, I know this is a bit different...but has anyone bought any of the Harry Potter books for their kids, other kids, etc.? I'm ashamed to admit it, but I have been reading Harry Potter and the books are very entertaining. I see grown a$$ people reading those books, I'm mean really engrossed in them! They would make great Christmas presents for any child on your list! The books are long too, so they do a good job of keeping them busy!

I did a search for Sista Souljah and found this. Anyway, I read the book and I enjoyed it. It was long, but it was good.

I also finished reading Soror Reshonda Tate Billingsley's book "My Brother's Keeper." It was good also.

Both books were quick reads. Something I love.

I swear, I must be the only person who doesn't read EJD or Omar Tyree, for that matter.

I just discovered Benilde Little, however. I like Good Hair; it's a neat book because I can relate to Alice, the protagonist (30something journalist, like me). Has anyone read Ms. Little's other book, The Itch?
