LOL

I watched the show and I didn't think she was bad at all. The chicken of the sea comment was hilarious and I thought she had a valid question about the name. I knew it wasn't chicken, but I didn't know there was a theme to the name. I can't call her ditzy for that.

He's a clean freak and she's messy so there is going to be some conflict and they will both have to compromise. I guess I can relate because I never did laundry until I got to college. She could make an effort to pick up after herself, but I don't see why they can't have a maid. A maid is in my budget when I buy a house and I'm nowhere near their status. It's not a necessity because I can clean, I just don't want to. Being "domestic" is a hard concept for me to grasp. LOL I will take something to the cleaners before putting it in the washer and why manually wash dishes when I could use the dishwasher? I've been called spoiled and lazy, but I'm ok with that.

I'm not going to count them out. I'm pretty sure he had some idea of what she was like before he asked her to marry him considering they have been together for 5 years. They are newlyweds going through the same things other married people have gone through and they just need time to adjust to their new life together.

I was thinking the same thing. I get mad when I buy underwear at V.S. for more than $50 total. How do you not realize how much you're paying for? Do upscale stores not tell you the total? She irritates me more and more each episode. She is so jealous it's not funny. I was ROFL when Nick was like "I'm not ruining a good meal for a kiss." Jessica needs to grow up and get with it, before she ends up a 24 year old divorced has been.

I think the show is cute and although I don't necessarily like Jessica Simpson, I expect her to act that way. She's pretty much a princess and that was evident when she announced that she saved herself. If my mother cleaned up after me my entire life, I would probably act like a spoiled, bratty, frou-frou girl. It's really her parent's fault for raising her that way. What were they thinking?? That she would live with them for the rest of her life and never have to pick up clothes, cook, clean, do laundry, or use basic common sense?? The fact that she spent over $700 by ACCIDENT from not looking a price tag is ridiculous and confirms the fact that she's spoiled. It's kind of sad really.
Anyway, I hope that their marriage works out, but those are some issues they should've worked out in premarital counseling or talking before they got married. 'Til death do us part' is a looooong time. Nick is a good man to stay with her if she continues to act the way she does.

Last night Nick said that he hopes to break her of her spoiled ways in five years or less.

I'm sorry to admit it, but I watched the first episode. The maid situation should had been worked out when they first moved into the house. Throwing her dirty drawers onto the foyer is just tacky. Jessica, you have a nice house. The first thing people don't need to see is your dirty drawers on the floor.

I am waiting to see HOW Nick proposes to change his wife in 5 years or less. Somebody shoulda told that poor baby you cannot change your spouse AFTER marriage. Whatever Jessika's parents did or did not do to make her turn out to be a self proclaimed spoiled brat, took much longer than a few years. And, even if she does have a chance to be changed...she will never succeed when her parents are ALWAYS around. Is her mother her manager or something??? "I can never make any decisions without my mom" WTF is that!...you are a grown azz woman--ACT LIKE IT!!!

I don't know how Nick does it! I would love to have a good relationship with my future inlaws, but I don't wanna see them er'day!

I can not stand Jessica Simpson. I have always hated her music- it's cheese. Not even a good cheese like muenster (which I would equate with Britney and N'Sync), we're talking Kraft Singles 1% no-fat lite. [/blonde moment]. 98 Degrees? Should have been named 15 minutes. And that 15 is over.

I just wonder WHO THOUGHT this show would be a good idea for their careers? These people are no damn Osbornes. Not that they even approach Ozzy Osbourne's level of talent at what he does (it's not my thing but I gather that he was a pioneer and rock God, so he has no credibility issues, unlike these people). They are third rate celebrities in a bad, bad marriage. People might watch the train wreck, but they ain't buyin the albums.

Ok, I watched the second episode, and I never thought in a million years that she would make a comment yet again on how dimwitted she is. The Chicken of the Sea thing had me cracking up in episode 1, but her not knowing how much some underware are before she buys them is crazy. I was cracking up when she called Nick and was like I spent $750 on 2 bras, and 2 pair of underwear. He was like take them back, and she was like they are like swimsuits you can't. My thing is, hell you were only just outside, you had them for not less than 30 seconds, they knew that you had not worn them, or tried them on, so take them the hell back, and when the stuff was being rung up, she should have said something then. This girl is a real airhead.

Sheee...I know some lingerie (read: La Perla) is pricey, but $750 for underwear sounds out of this world.

Funniest Moment

On the first episode for me was when she asked about the "Chicken of the Sea". I was rolling.

On the second episode for me it was when he started to make a comment about something, and he just completely stopped and cleared his throat while he watched some woman walk by... I guess the woman was so fine he just forgot about everything cameras and all. I know she got in his ish when that aired, but a friend of mine made a good comment. Why is she so jealous?... Would he really cheat with 20 cameras around?
