I agree with the Article and is well written. But the main scheme of things is not of the White, Black, Latino, Multi-Cultural Orgs.

I am sure, well depending on the parts of the country, that anyone walked into a house, looked at some of the composites , that there were No Black and White photos. My Chapter has been done in Color for many years!

I hope you get my drift!

Marie,
This looks really interesting but I am completely clueless as to where I could look for it. Are theses (sp?) published online, do you know?

Thanks!

It normally takes a year for a thesis to go from the student to their department to the library bindery. So, a 2002 MA thesis should be in the library (or in my school's case, the University archives) now. Most undergraduate honors theses are stored by the student's department. Of course, this probably all differs from school to school--but my alma mater was fairly small; for an Emory or UMD, it could be longer.

I do know by the time that I finished mine (which was tied to Greek Life, by the way), I was so sick of it that I didn't care what happened to it. Other than my own copy, and my advisors' personal copies, I don't know where my "official" copy is.

I remember our advisor telling us how sororities were the ultimate women's organization--entirely operated by women, from public relations to finance to everything in between. If there's any campus institution that fosters women's independence and friendships, it is a college sorority. I think sororities are excellent feminist organizations.

That reminds me of my sorority. We are the youngest and the smallest on campus, yet we have such a diverse group of women! It really makes for a wonderful experience. Every woman brings something unique to the group.
