Thumbs up

It would be a cold day in Hades before I would do that to him, however, hypothetically I would tell him. I have no secrets from him and I don't like to lie. We have discussed this and both agreed that IF it were to occur the first thing we would do is go into counseling through our church.

Well first of all I don't believe in cheating. I believe that if you "L"ove someone (seriously and wholeheartedly) that person is more than enough for you. Even though I'm celebate, I'll still reply to the question.... Yes, I would tell him if I cheated, I don't feel that you should lie to people and keep secrets IF you say you "L"ove the person. Because you never know, even if he is the type of person to leave, if you're honest with him and genuinely sincere about it not happening again, he may NOT leave if he "L"oves you to death, it may take him some time to learn to trust you again like he did, but if you're truthful, then you're already on that road to earning and gaining his trust back. I think I feel like that because I WOULD want him to tell me!! If he didn't not only would I not trust me we might get into a physical altercation. LOL (I'm just kidding, I'm a "L"over not a fighter) But I can't stand for someone not to tell me the truth and when they keep secrets. I can't stand a LIAR, a CHEAT and a THEIF!!! But oh well that's just me!!

What is there to tell? If you are conscious enough to tell him afterwards, you were conscious enough to know you were doing wrong. I would take this to my grave.

Well, this time Ape, you are NOT original...cause men and women have been cheating for ages and being faced with this dilemma.

I asked that question because on the show (Sex and the City), this same issue is going on with the lead character!

Sweetheart, I work many hours. I'm not around t.v. much. I have never even heard of the show you're referring to. I graciously accept your statement that this was not an original idea; I only meant that I presented it the same way it rolled off the top of my head. I stand corrected.

I think, if we were really looking hard, we would see that the majority of the topics in these forums can be associated with situations that are happening on t.v. sitcoms and/or dramas...but more than likely, at least for me, I like to post topics about things that happen to come to mind or things that I see going on around me. The way we choose to word the situation and the different twists that we add to make the topic more interesting and spicy is where originality comes in. To be quite honest, I have never seen Sex in the City either! I guess I have been living under a rock since it's been on the air.

True, men's actions usually give them away, anyhow. News like that from my man would break me as well. I probably see it differently because I'm in a 2 yr. relationship where I see my man often. But I don't mean to downplay your feelings on this situation, and as women I guess we have different situations and circumstances that call for our different actions.

Peace and blessings.
