mizzkes:

My mother found out that she had breast cancer just 4 mos. after my father passed with cancer. It was truly hard to deal with. She had a lumpectomy follwed by 6 treatments of chemo and 33 treaments of radiation. All of this took place in 96 and she is still going strong. The issue is very hard to handle and deal with seeing how just within the last 2 years we have buried an uncle and 3 cousins to this disease. At times I am struggling and my faith seems to slip away, but I know not all cancers are the same and I know WHO HOLDS TOMORROW.

Please feel free to e-mail me if you would like to talk one on one.

Well, I have dealt with cancer with my friends and family members. It is so hard, but I had to keep my faith and trust in God. He is the only healer against this disease. Thins will be tough, but that is only Satan trying to bring you and your family down. I know that it may be hard, but try to stay positive and focus on the time your mother has. I am not trying to make you feel down or implying that she will pass away, but being positive and focusing on her health and her being here will make it easier on you and your family. I will keep you in my prayers. God Bless you, My sister in Christ
