alum advising them. I would bet that in most cases they didn't have a situation like your husband and you have experienced.
Maybe this is close to the root of the problem. I don't know, but with my son about to rush, if I hear any hint of hazing within a fraternity I want him to know. I'm grateful my daughter has been on campus two years and is able to steer him from some of the more notorious chapters. She has a high acceptance level regarding some of the activities, but has warned him of who beats the tar out of their pledges, starves them during hell week or forces them to drink till they vomit.
