Actually, I read an article on them way before they became popular. The record company searched Russia for lesbians - who can sing. Lesbians first - singing second. So yes - they are "real" lesbians, real singers - thats another story.
Wether or not they are attracted to eachother is another story.

Much as I hate labels... The article would've been wrong. They are definitely not lesbians. Girls of a certain age (or that looked fairly young) were searched for and the pretend-lesbian element was introduced for cynical marketing reasons. The person who put the group together thought that underage girls and lesbians were best selling points so Tatu have to play along with that.

If I am not mistaken, I read on mtv.com that one of them has a boyfriend.
