Another one I have seen on a rush shirt:
"There are leaders, and there are followers. Please note: You're reading the BACK of my shirt!"
I have to say that shirt slogans like this go a long way towards INCREASING anti-Greek hostility instead of diminishing it.

Many Delta Sigma Pi chapters I know of use that slogan (since it's a business fraternity afterall )

TKE, Rushing Men and Pleasing Women Since 1899.
(I end up wearing this shirt a lot for some reason..)

A local sorority once had, "When we're good we're great, when we're bad we're better" or something like that, lol

My personal favorite is "When your letters are in front of you, your sisters are behind you"

Mind/Matter

Our chapter had a rush shirt a while ago that said...

front... Mind over Matter
back... if you don't rush, we don't mind, cause you don't matter

Worst rush shirt I ever saw was at UW-Whitewater for summer school last year:

"QVC, we're tighter than your little sister"

It had a picture of a girl who looked eleven holding a teddy bear in a little nightie. I love this GLO nationally, but will never ever respect that chapter. The guy wore it almost every week.

Honestly, I don't know why guys think that these shirts make them look good. They're just offending the women that they're theoretically hoping to hook up with.

I'm not surprised that the Greek system at some schools has the reputation that it does.

some of those fraternity shirt slogans are so distasteful i would lose all respect for that chapter and whoever was wearing it. thats the one difference about sororities and fraternities. all of our shirts have to be approved and ALL are done in good taste so as to offened no one, and to always portray our sisters and GLOs in general in a positive light. fraternities really need to get their act together and start doing this as well. they should have laws that says a chapter must approves shirts etc as well, because obiviously they arn't mature enough to select suitable slogans on their own.

This is a major difference between sororities and fraternities...this whole approval stuff. I can only speak for Beta Chapters, but one of the things that our chapters and our General Fraternity strive for is self governance. That's one of the goals of our Men of Principle initiative. Now granted some chapters are immature, but to make more rules and regulations isn't going to change that, and if you have to get everything approved anyway, it doesn't really develop any leadership/creativity b/c some advisor is going to have to give the go ahead anyway...why not just let the advisory team make up the shirt slogans thus saving everyone time and effort?

The Delts on our campus (who have been on probation for most of my tenure at Lawrence) had rush shirts this year that said DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION.

My chapter had a a guy spanking a monkey and it said Rush Psi U what else you gonna do?

Another time we had the State your face grateful dead cover and those bears and it said State Your face Rush Psi U with our letters in that skull (its a bad discription, but i dont really know that much about the grateful dead)

Whaaaaat? Ewwww...I almost never get offended by raunchy stuff (heck, I'm the one who says it!), but there's a line, and that definitely crossed it!
