There are two songs that need to go away forever:

the song that goes "God send me an angel from the heavens above"

and Justin Timberlake's "Rock your body." Justin, honey, I thought you had talent!

I hate American Pie too. That song is awful.

The song I keep hearing on the radio that I hate is Move Your Body Like a Snake by R Kelly. I normally love his songs, but this one is just boooooring and way overplayed.

The radio station at work likes to play "Eternal Flame" by The Bangles...CONSTANTLY

"...an eternal FLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME." I cringe everytime I hear the opening chords!

This song is old but I hate it with a pure passion - "Hey there, lonely girl". It's too nasty for a plain old blech.

Oooh, I am SO not feeling a bunch of the songs out right now... it just reminds me why I hate the radio.

Ashanti's new song: Could her songs sound ANY more alike? "Ohhh baby, ohhh baby..." Ugh. HATE!THIS!SONG! I don't need to hear her moan, no thanks.

"I'm Glad" by J.Lo: TERRIBLE. HORRIBLE. I've never like Jennifer Lopez as a singer and this song just reminds me why. Horribly cheesy and the WORST!LYRICS!EVER. J.Lo's songs are only decent when she pairs up with a rapper. Her songs just make me want to scratch out my ears. If you REALLY want a good laugh... download "Dear Ben."

That "Angel" song: Can't stand it. "God sent me an aaaaangel, from the heavens above." Just blaaaaah.

"My Love Is Like Whoa" by Mya: I couldn't BELIEVE that Mya sang this song! It seemed Beyonce-esque. It's TERRIBLE. "My love is like WHOA! My ass is like WHOA! My sex is like WHOA!" Ummm... no? So bad.

Oh and don't even get me started on Britney and Avril... can someone just please have them SHUT UP?! Sooooo bad. Always.

I truly am bewildered....NEVER have i heard anyone in my life say a negative word about Don McLean's American Pie, other than Madonna's attempt at a tribute was more like sacriledge. I would honestly have to say I think that is one of the greatest songs ever written. Sorry, I'm just really taken back by this...

Anyway, I cannot stand Avril, 50cents, or almost anything on the radio. I used to be very into the new unheard-of bands on the rise, but I truly just feel that nothing of the music being produced in the last few years is permanent. There is no Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins, and even the bands that are still around their quality has diminished. We are in sincere need of a musical reformation!

Angry

I just hate
"And III-EEE-IIII-EEE-III WILL ALLLWAYS LOOOVE YOOOOU"
It's probably a very sweet song, but WHY does Whitney Houston just OVERSING everything?

I got flack for mentioning it before, but I really can't stand "Wind Beneath My Wings."

And it's probably sacreligious, but I reallly dislike "Amazing Grace" because it is just too over done.

I hate almost all the songs on this thread... let's see, the exceptions for me are "Rock Your Body" and "Eternal Flame"... I can't give up my Bangles!

Songs that annoy me:
Rock Lobster by B-52s... this song is just scary and it makes my head hurt.

OK, I kinda liked Remix to Ignition the first 100 times I heard it, but now, I don't ever want to hear it again!

Magic Stick with 50 Cent and Lil' Kim... it's a real shame that such a good beat/sound had to be paired up with the stupidest and most unsexy lyrics in the universe.

Oh and that song with the funky chicken... or something chicken... you know what I'm talking about. I never want to hear that on my radio again.

I don't like this song, either, but the less-than-stellar singing isn't why. My sister and I agree that the weird synthesized noises (do you know what I'm talking about?) in that song sound exactly like our toilet did when it was acting up. I have no clue what the name of the song is...it's "The Toilet Song" to us.
