She's not elderly, she's probably in her 40s.

Why am I CTFU at her trying to "shush" you like a junior high school librarian.

My neighbors downstairs are my neighbors from hell!

These clowns have to be in their late 20s. They have a 12-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter that live there also. Mind you, on various occasions, I have come home at about 10 or 11pm and she has been outside pacing the driveway on her cordless phone. She is usually fussing her arse off. So, she will walk back and forth until the guy comes home, which can be about 1 or 2 in the morning. As soon as he pulls up, she runs inside and starts throwing his things outside. They usually shout, scream, fuss, yell, cuss, and everything else. The things that they say to one another are horrible!! They tell one another " I F-ing HATE YOU!" and all sorts of other things with such venom!

Notice when I started the story, I said "on various occasions." Yep, that's right. NO ONE EVER LEAVES!! After they fuss and fight until about 3 or 4 in the morning, they go to sleep and by morning, they are ready for family breakfast at the IHOP!

One time, the fools had a man outside fixing their car. Something happened and the guy downstairs decided to beat the mechanic unmercifully while his kids were inside. The woman came outside in the middle of the beatdown. Instead of her trying to stop her man from beating someone in front of his house while the kids were inside, she egged it on and passed her words to the man getting beat up!

Their lease had run out and she had expressed her dissatisfaction with this complex and her desire to move. Well, guess what? They changed their mind and renewed the lease for another year! When my lease runs out in January, I'm OUT OF HERE!

I don't know the legal side of it, but there is a definite no kids clause in our lease. It was one of the highlights of the apartment complex actually. My husband stayed in a complex full of young children before we got married and he had to deal with LOTS of yelling, crying and screaming, tripping over bicycles and toys in the hall, even running over toys in the parking lot. It was really bad. So, we were looking for the most peaceful environment we could get.

neighbors

Well, I recently purchased a beautiful home in a well-established middle class mixed neighborhood.

I have been in my house since June 1 and have found several piles of cat poop in my backyard and on at least 2 occasions dog poop was in my front yard.

I DON'T HAVE A PET!

LOL.

Is there some kind of ordinance for your area where the pets are required on leashes whenever they are out?

Are you and yours cleaning this poop, or does it serve as a fertilizer?

Let me tell y'all about my 2 sets of neighbors from hell!!! I live on the 1st floor of a triplex. My family has been there for a VERRRRY long time and we've seen people come and go. The people we have in there now? LAWD HELP US! I want to move, but that's a whole 'nother story...

Let's talk about my 2nd floor neighbor. She's been in the apartment for about 7 years. She is melanin-challenged, and she likes black men. She has a girl and a boy by this one man who used to beat her up every night! She also is mentally ill and dependent on medications. When they first moved in, my mom and I used to turn down the TV in the living room and just listen to them go at it. We were like, she must have forgotten to take her meds because she's going buck wild and so is he. She even tried to OD on Tylenol PM and liquor. The police have been to our house so many times that at one point, they were like, this is going to end in death! He finally got arrested and there was a restraining order put against him. He's broken in many times though. He moved out and moved in with another melanin-challenged woman who was his boss. They were all over the news because he started to beat her up too. They are still together. Well, fast forward about 3-4 years to the present. She no longer has the kids-the state took them because she was keeping the little boy out from school for no reason. He WAS having seizures, and he did have to miss school, but she kept him home for no reason. The little girl graduated from 5th grade and she didn't even go. She's hasn't been taking her meds. She wasn't feeding or caring for them properly. She's very non-social/borderline rude to my granny and myself (she used to be my granny's porch buddy), and she's just a bomb waiting to blow up! She is on Section 8, but she hasn't been paying her rent. She told the landlord that she wasn't paying him isht and to get off of her property! WTF????!!!!???? I didn't even go there with her 3 cats always trying to come up in my house....I had to have a piece of glass put over the bottom half of my backdoor screen because they actually clawed a hole through it and I would find them chillin in my kitchen! They must smell the food we cook or something, so that must mean she's not really feeding them.

Ok...on to the 3rd floor neighbors. A Jamaican man and his girlfriend. A little background...about a year or so ago, the man had actually moved in with another jamaican woman. She went to Canada to visit her daughter, and due to some INS stuff, they wouldn't let her back in the country until her paperwork got verified. While that was happening, he started shacking up with this other chick. The jamaican lady came home on a Sunday morning with no warning, and found them-her boyfriend and the new chick-in bed. She called her son -who lives around the corner-to come and get her and her stuff. So she moved out. She now lives in New York with another one of her daughters. The man and his chick are still up there. They ain't paying their rent either. He works for a landscaping company, but I don't know if he's still with them because he is home just about all of the time. The chick doesn't work either, and she has never worked a day in her life. She's collecting a check from welfare. They are both MAJOR alcoholics. He likes to get drunk, sit on the porch and talk about the Bible in his drunkeness. My granny told him to sober up before he starts talking about the Lord to her! The girlfriend is just trifling. She is my granny's new porch buddy, but until recently, my granny decided to tell me that she's always trying to hit her up for a couple of dollars. I was HOT!!!! She has started going to my old church down the street, and ever since she saw me there one Sunday that I was visiting, she now feels like she can talk about the Pastor to me. My old Pastor is like my daddy , so talk bad about him, and I'm gonna fight you! So I turn and walk away from her.

The incident that took the cake was a about a week ago. It was about 5 in the morning on a Sunday, and I wake up to her cussing in my driveway because the door was locked and she couldn't get into her apartment. So she started calling my 2nd floor neighbor and her boyfriend all kinds of B's and MF's telling them to open the GD door! Then she starts running up and down the fire escape (which is right outside of one of my bedroom windows) and I guess she got in through the window because I didn't hear her anymore.

The neighbors who live is the house connected to ours has called the cops on numerous occasions on both of these neighbors. She has called the cops on the 2nd floor from everything from arguing to her cats trying to climb into her windows! She has called the cops on the 3rd floor because they have sex too loud or they argue at all times of the night. Oh...did I mention that the 2nd floor chick has a thing for the 3rd floor man and now the 2nd floor chick and the 3rd floor chick throw daggers with their eyes at each other? It's even gone to the point that when the 2nd floor neighbor knocks on their door to tell them to keep quiet, the 3rd floor chick answers her door BUCK NEKKID and is like, what the @$@ do you want? Entired TOO MUCH flesh on parade....

Now, the neighborhood crack ho has been hanging out on my porch! I came home from work one day and I was like OH HECKS NO! She's got to go. She is nothing but trouble. I know because she used to date someone in my family. Come to find out, there's been an undercover cop watching our house for the last month. Why? I have no clue. My granny told me. I told her to stop laying around the house with the doors unlocked and anyone can walk in. I went and got us some renter's insurance because I don't have a good feeling about any of these people. I even put my club on my car now, and I park in the back of the house!

WHEW!!! Thank you for letting me vent....

Well, we have cleaned it up but last night, I went and got some 'pet be gone' stuff and sprinkled it around my yard. I also got a motion detector light and will be installing a video surveillance system (we were going to do this anyway but decided to kick it up a notch). Since I am not home often and my husband is not as observant I want to be able to show the neighbors a picture of their pet using my yard as a personal latrine. You know a picture is worth a thousand words!

I don't know if their is a pooper scooper law but I know that there is a leash law. Again, PICTURES!

I see you are in Philly - Frankford or South Philly? I grew up in North Philly and lived in the NE for several years.

Get the inconsiderate so and sos.

Neighbors and their pets (some of them):
They allow the pets to roam, then they steal your newspapers or raid your trash that's on the curb.

It's not anything nice to have to clean up the chewed debris.

Angry OMG

I have this man and his chick that live right next door to me. She's 36 and a drug addict and he's her 76 year old sugar daddy. I can't even count how many times they have disturbed my sleep because they are fighting right outside of my window. He beats her in public, and they even get into food fights in the daylight while people are outside. Yesterday, her threw a whole pot pf spaghetti on her, and he left all of the food on the sidewalk. It looks so horrible, and he is running down our whole neighborhood. he also takes our things when we put the out for the big trash pick-up. The last time, he took our rugs.

Man I tell ya...people these days.
