I too understand the '55'.....at a historically black scool, you can see 200-400/500 girls at rush (depending on the school). I thought it happened everywhere....until I was an assistant GA for a PWI and saw with my own eyes 5, maybe 15 or 20 girls at rush at one time...I'm like, where are yalls people (smile....hahahahaha)
Anyway, it was 33 of us which by some seems large......and yes, before the 90's there were still relatively "large" lines at black schools. I have friends that were on line in the 60's and seventies on lines of 40's and 50's....
