i have an innie.
I got it pierced and my ex hated it, so i took it out and the bottom scarred over, so I had it redone and when I did he missed the orginally bottom part and after a week, I took it out to clean it and all this scar tissue came out with it... about 4 inches worth!!! It was pretty foul!
But mine looks perfectly normal now, maybe even considered cute!

I have an innie.

Now, all those who have outies (although none have posted yet) please do not be offended in my next revelation. When my niece was born there were some issues with the healing of her belly button. My mom and I were changing her one day when it was almost done healing, and we noticed that we think she is going to have an outie. We were both disappointed. How superficial of us....

I'm an innie, but probably not for long! I expect my belly button to pop out any day.

Mine is turning into an innie. When I was playing sports in HS/college I had a low body fat, but now that I am out of school my body fat is probably around 15% which is normal but the fat starts to overlap the bellybutton which makes it look like an innie.

I'm sorry, but that is really fascinating to me (in a gross sort of way)! Where exactly did the 4 inches of scar tissue come from? Did it hurt? Sounds like it would!

It actually came out with the ring, it was kinda raveled and thin,..... it was stringy and stuff... and white, but when i brought the ring out it was kinda attached, so i grabbed it and kept unraveling. I talked to a guy that works at a piercing place and he says it scars it a tunnel form, so what happened was I was unraveling the "tunnel" that had been created from the first time I got it pierced.

Don't worry I am sick like that... fascinated and disgusted with puss/scars/etc. all at once!

I have an innie. I had a friend in college who had no belly button, though.
