Awe God. We have a mixer with one sorority then hit the bar, they request the song. Another sorority next day, guess which song they requested at the bar, "We are family." I swear i was going to go to the DJ booth grab the freaking cd and scratch it to hell.

That stupid stupid stupid song, "I Put Your Picture Away" by Kid Rock. It wasn't bad the first time, but now....AAAAAAGH! And the worst part is that he sang it with two people, so it's on country and pop stations.

Other bands that should be banned include Matchbox 20, and anything by Goo Goo Dolls after the release of "A boy named Goo"

"Sex and Candy" by Marcy Playground
"Youth of a Nation" P.O.D. (actually POD boarders on being banned completely just for this song, and the fact nothing else they play is very good.)

You Shook me All Night Long - AC/DC - same reason
there are a bunch more dance songs that I'm just plain tired of despite the fact that they're good songs.
Tainted Love, that one "You spin me right round baby, right round..." etc.

britney spears should be seen for the horrible "singer" that she is and be banished into the 12th realm of hell. i swear......everything she sings is horrid. well, the "boys" remix ain't bad, but that's IT.

I like Cha Cha but when they started making all those remixes, I left it alone. I have one friend, just mention Cha Cha and she starts Charlie Browning. It makes me crazy. But Cha Cha at the roller rink? That, I have to see

"You are the wind beneath my wings" EUUUUUWWWW - I just hate that song. I swear, I have heard it played or sung at everything from weddings to funerals to teacher appreciation luncheons. It' s just sooooo overused!!
And just to be a real heretic, I can't stand "Amazing Grace" much for the same reasons - it's overdone!!!
