Dumb. Anyone from this part of country know catfish have these spines that can be very leathal like a sharp pointed dagger. 
Depending on the size of the catfish, they can be 2/3 in. long!!
Just like shrimp, who, I found out snapping the heads off have sharp spines coming out of the head. Got gouged many times! 
OOOOOOOH, morons!!!!!
Lucky it was not in an eye!

Just about the funniest thing ever
I am glad that the fellow was not seriously hurt...
But, I have to admit, I laghted so hard that I cried. I even called my mom and dad just to tell them this story. I am from the rural south, and I assumed that everyone knew that catfish had sharp spikes. Good grief!

I'm really glad he didn't lose an eye or something terrible like that, and maybe there were some marine biology majors, but everyone makes mistakes sometimes!

I had to the read the article several times to believe this one. That Sigma Chi guy was lucky that the catfish's spine didn't get through his skull and possibly cause brain damage. What I want to know is how did this happen. How did he manage to get a catfish stuck in his head?
I also read that the "perpetrator" is in the chapter's freezer. What are brothers planning to do with it? Eat it or display it on a wall as a trophy? [SIZE=3][FONT=century gothic][COLOR=green]

Today, I printed out that article and gave it to my parents to read. They both thought that this poor guy and his brothers were idiots for using catfish in their skit.
