You know you're cheap when you:
1. Go to restaurants and tell people its your birthday so you can get something free.

2. Plan to spend 6 hours or more at the movie theatres watching more than one movie so you can get your "money's worth."

3. Order a pizza eat some of it and then call the pizza place back and tell them they got the order wrong just so you can get another pizza for free.

4. Scope out luncheons on campus and pretend to be invited in order to get a free meal.

Let's keep it going..
i've done 1,2,4. that isn't cheap.....that's being a smart student.

Now, just off the top, me an my brother have always looked older than our age, but YOU BEST BELIEVE we were both under six until we were like 9 or 10 LOL. We did this wherever there was an age thing.

Birtha what you know about Chesapeake lol... We used to go to the one in New Carrolton and I was six for a looong time until the waiters started to catch on.

As far as being cheap I used to have a press pass for the school newspaper and would go to restaurants and say I was writing an article about restaurants in the area and they would give me either free food or a nice discount

Going to other people's luncheon's on campus is DEFINITELY the way to go as a student. I mean, think about it, they prolly not gonna eat all that food anyway, why have it go to waste?

Anybody else jack utensils (metal or plastic) from the cafeteria? As well as napkins and other items? (Trays, plates, assorted condiments, etc.)

Now I haven't done it

But I have heard of people who separate two ply bathroom tissue to get more wear and also taking condiments out of fast food restaurants and filling their bottles at home

Dang, I guess I'm not cheap at all because I've never done any of that stuff!!!! My great uncle is SO cheap. He lives in Mississippi and he recycles his paper towels! Let's just say, my tail don't use any of those napkins!!

Free bottled water and parking

I work in a small office and we have those water coolers that are kinda expensive. Well, I take an empty water bottle from home and fill it up from the water cooler and take it home. No one really drinks the water anyway except for guests when they come in.

I also get out of parking garages for free by waiting for someone else to leave and following closely behind them. This only works at the kind that are automated and unattended. We have quite a few like that downtown.

OMG, I do that too! I have a big 1.5L bottle that I fill up every day and take home. I never buy water any more.

Man everytime I go to a restarant I get a STACK of napkins, sometimes I even leave the napkin holder empty. Whenever someone opens my glove compartment, napkins come flowing out. You may never know when you need them.

What about this? Do you ever go to fast food restaurant and order something petty? There's a Popeye's a block away from my school, I luuuuv their biscuits...sometimes I just over there to order ONE biscuit at the drive thru.

Not cheap, but broke

I put in a time off request form for Thursday because I have a little bit of gas in the car and no money. (don't get paid till friday)
Don't think I have enough gas to get me to and from work till I get paid. Plus, I have Fridays and Saturdays off so i'd have a 3 day weekend

ttt...2006

My cousin is so cheap...she refuses to pay the extra .50 cents for the honey chicken wings meal from chinese restaurants. Instead she orders the regular chicken wings meal and drives to Popeyes chicken pretends that she just ordered and asks them for "extra" honey packets. I laugh everytime we order together...

You know you're cheap when you... steal straws. I can't imagine paying for a straw or pack of straws, so I pick up as many as I can from the restaurant or cafeteria.
