Let me first assure you all that I am aware that what I am about to say is extremely controversial as far as pledge classes are concerned. And personaly I am a very strong advocate of "quality over quantity" unfortunately sometimes circumstances make the "cutting" of a pledge very difficult. My colony for instance. Within the next week our "third party inspector" for gaining our charter will be arriving. And I'll be the first to admit that we have several active members that I would have liked to have cut in the begining. Problem being we just barely broke even on our active membership requirement on our last chance to remain a colony. SO sometimes you can't afford to cut a guy even if you want to (note that even the members I would have liked to do without are to an extent good tekes, they just arn't great tekes). I am however, now that our charter is all but in our hands, looking forward to being able to be picky about who joins MY fraternity.
