I am a bit on the ecclectic side and have yet to step into the world of downloading and MP3s. Where can I do to get the tv theme songs and do I need more than my laptop to burn CDs?

Please note that is for educational purposes ONLY :
Getting the MP3s
**************
People go to:
http://www.kazaalite.com OR http://www.winmx.com
There are plenty more, but these are the more popular ones. Then they download the software. They install it and search for whatever songs they want. WinMX is where I've found a lot of theme songs.
Some people just download songs and don't bother creating a CD. Others create a CD so that they can listen to it in the car or take it with them.
Making a CD
***********
They use their CD-RW Optical Drive on their computer, aka CD Burner to make a CD. Their CD Burner usually comes with software to create a CD.
Then they use the software by loading all the songs they want on a CD, maybe about 16 or 17 songs (depending on their lengths). They insert a blank CD (bought at Walmart or Best Buy - "CD-RW" by the pack) and just follow the instructions on their computer screen.
Then they press a button and the software will begin writing the songs to the blank CD.
That's about it

The Rio!!!!!
I should have never wasted my money on that Rio "hair straighting" system....or the one that Debbie Allen was pushing!!! My hair simply looked and felt the same!!! I've just come to grips that I was blessed with curly hair!!!!

You didn't like Junior M.A.F.I.A.? That was a jammin' CD. At least, I think so.

I loved India.Arie's CD, and I like that Monica song, "knock, knock, knock" I could do without Missy singing, but I liked it.
Amerie's CD was a big waste of my money, and it was only $6.99.
Lauryn Hill's Unplugged 2.0... I was very hurt with this because I loved her first CD.

case NUMBER ONE in favor of kazaalite, lol.
I dled that soooooong. I actually dl'ed the whole sdtk. If it had been good I would have bought the cd but it was garbage so that joint got burned onto a gigantic 160-song MP3 cd!

I can't believe you don't like Syleena Johnson's cds! I loved both of them. But I'm into mellow music and I believe defiinitely does that for me.
As of right now, I still regret purchasing Mary J. Blige's last cd. It was a terrible purchase. I heard this latest one is good though. I need to hear another single before I make that purchase though.
And don't play because I love Ideal's album too!!

Alicia Keys new CD, "The Diary of Alicia Keys"
There were only three songs on there that I liked and one of them was the single she has out now. It gets one thumb down from me.

Oh My Goodness, I LOVE LOVE LOVE her CD. I love all the songs on there.
Amerie has a good CD. I still spin it today.
I know I'm out of the loop, but is there anyway to listen to CD's before they come out. Remember when blockbuster had those listening stations where you could listen to any CD. *sigh* the good old days. I have made some unwise purchases that my CD collection is WAY WAY out of date. I don't have money to waste.
Does any one have Kelis's Tasty? Milkshake is my song!!!
