1. You get to talk to some very interesting people, and hear different perspectives and views on a variety of issues.
2. You hear some of the funniest stuff on here
3. I have gotten some great songs to download from some of you alls music threads
4. I have learned more about Greek Life in general
5. I have learned what NOT to do (there are some people that make perfect examples out of themselves)
6. It was nice to hear of the reasons that some of the sister friends have for wanting to pursue membership into the organization they are interested in, and made me think hard about mine, making sure that I had my stuff straight.

Many of you have posted why I love GC, so I don't have much to add. But I will add this: Since I live during the week in an area where "we" make up less than 2 percent of the population, I love GC because it widens my Soror circle, allows me to meet other NPHC greeks and interests, and interact with NPC/NIC folks who don't act up.

I'm glad you mentioned that, Steeltrap! There is a serious lack of melanine in grad school and it's good to talk to some sorors and other people who understand.

1.) The Positivity!!!
2.) Reading Everyone's HC's
3.) All the funny azz Trheads: the Pimp Slap Thread, the Ghetto Wedding Stories Thread, Open Letter, Celebrity Dish (#51482?!), etc.
4.) That no matter what we don't drama ruin our fun

5.) My daily dose of laughter
6.) The various people I've been able to interact w/, from all walks of life
7.) Meeting like-minded individuals--Greeks and SF's
8.) Establishing new friendships
9.) That I feel like I REALLY do know many of y'all (like, I remember details about your lives and stuff!)
10.) The opportunity to dialogue w/ intelligent, educated Black folks (b/c we're a minorty where I go to school

)
11.) Diversity of opinions and being educated on relevant issues! I love when people drop knowledge!!!
12.) That even if I am away for a while I know I am missed (and vice-versa), and when I do come back y'all are still here

1. I can meet sisterfriends like myself.

2. The gossip thread

3. The HC thread

4. The chance to interact with people who I would never know

5. It makes my work day go by so much faster

6. It makes my MIS class go by faster

1. I can chat with people from all over.

2. I can chat with people who have the same or similar interest as myself.

3. I learn from others and from the occasional fools that pop up on the scene. You can learn from a fool, you can learn what not to do.

4. This board provides me with laugh out loud moments. Aw Hell to Da Naw, the lion cut cat. Enough said. If you don't know about that thread on DST Blvd. then you need to stop by now for a good laugh.

5. I like reading and posting Celeb Gossip.

I really need to quit saying, " On GC so and so said....

And the people I'm talking to say "who?"

It's like AA. I can come here with the rest of the addicts. I mean, Gina is on during CLASS??? You know that's an addict right there, LOL. But it's cool, cuz we all addicted. My non-GC friends think I'm crazy. But I love GC cuz y'all don't think I'm crazy. Well, you might, lol, but not cuz I'm an addict.

Ninja, I agree with the comment on the perps. It is kinda fun.

I love GC because...

People here make me laugh, think and even sometimes cry
I've 'met' some really cool people
It's a great stress reliever
THe ghetto wedding thread...enough said!
It's great to hear people share their accomplishments
I get to stay current with what's going on in the world
I get to hear a wide variety of opinions
I get to be down right silly
I learn a lot of slang and what's going on with the youn'ins today (I suprise my neices and nephews that way!)

4. Meeting NYC sistafriends and memberfriends on the net and in person
5. Posting my opinions in many forums b/c there are a lot of topics that interest me
6. The opportunity to team up with FeeFee so we can JIGGLE THE DAYUM BONES of people who need it (celebrities are NO exception!!!!!!!!!!!)
7. Being able to shine my rays of light on the entire GC family for all the world to see

I kept skipping this thread,

, but alas it is time for me to answer.

1. I have met so many wonderful sorors who range from intellectual, humorous, inspirational, motherly, sisterly, knowledgeable, etc. and they have made me appreciate the presence of DSQ in my life even more.

2. The interaction I have experienced with members of other fraternities and sororities, especially the D9 one.

3. The fun topics, the thought provoking ones, celeb news, the inspirational ones

4. The drama on here is fun too.

5. The relationships that I have developed with folks from GC.
