RELAX!!

Wooooo...What is up with all the fiestiness lately, not only on this thread but several others. I think maybe some people are little too stressed out right now....

Let's all take a deep breath....and turning the party room into a cock fighting ring was probably just a joke. No need to take everything so seriously! Remember what a joke is?

I know it's getting down to the wire in the school year, but everyone needs to LIGHTEN UP!!

It's not the cock fighting comment that is an issue. It's making derogatory comments about another member of this community that's an issue.

I'm hope that I'm not the one lauradav is referring to for making derogatory comments... I didn't mean to insult anyone. To respond to Dianne, I realize that he may have meant it as a joke, but personally, I don't find cruelty to animals to be a joke. Anyone who has ever seen dogs or roosters that have been involved in fights (which I have) knows how hurtful and mean this practice is. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for eating meat, but cockfighting and dogfighting, IMHO, are unnecessary and cruel. To me, joking about them is akin to joking about child abuse, racism, or any other wrong--just not acceptable.

I'm not apologizing for my comments, but I'm not trying to attack any other GC member, either. I know a thing or two about shultzz, methinks.

I think the bar is a good idea...but why do you suddenly have this room? is it connected to your main party areas? if so it would be way convienent and you could also have better control over who has access tothe bar. if you make it a bar, put built in cabinents, with locks, there was a house here, that didn't have the liquor (donated of course...) locked up well enough and other people broke into the cheap ass doors and got all the liquor. If it is an old dorm room, it might not be a good bar (but a decent or sexile room) or something, make sure it fits with what ever is around it. get good tables. you can't play quarters ona bad table or moosey moose. and chairs that wash off.

this room should not be wasted on something that does not involve alcohol. that said, go for the beer pong table. this is cheap, easy and dare I say....necessary!

everyone wins when you're playin pong

Thumbs up party room

DUDE! Make it a bar. That way you can:
A) have more space for parties so people aren't spilling everywhere, OR
B) have more space to fit more people at your parties.

Or you can always make it into a TV lounge with a bunch of couches.
