Part Irish (other part scottish) and my boyfriend is Irish.

I'm not wearing green today (horrible I know), but I am wearing my sisterhood badge to celebrate the other important thing on march 17th...

Now who can beat me for having the most Irish name on greekchat... mine's Siobhan...

I can, but I won't. Let's say that we tie for Irish names!

Well... I'm only third-generation fresh off the boat! My late great grandmother (on my father's side) came from Dublin and still spoke with an Irish brogue 'til the day she died.

Green beer?!? Begorrah! The only true Irish beer (excuse me... stout!) is Guinness!

I'm half scottish. Yeah, were the uncool bitchy people of the Brittish Isles.

The only two media appearances we've had in the last decade is Braveheart, (the last cool thing we did was 700 years ago) and Trainspotitng.

Yeah, were cold and bitchy. Oh yeah. I think we were plaid. Thats about it.

Okay, I think our ancestors must have been slutty. I am part Irish myself. Almost EVERYONE I meet (regardless of the rest of their background) has SOME Irish.

I just had to post during these last few minutes of St. Patrick's Day! I'm very Irish, and have a very Irish name. Shannon is my real first name, and my last name is very similar to a famous KD's last name, I'm sure most of you can figure it out! There's no O' at the beginning, but even some of my sisters forget sometimes! Hope everyone had a great day, and aren't too hungover tomorrow after all that green beer!

Hmmm...I think my name is pretty Irish! My first name is Erin, and my last name starts with an O. Plus my grandfather came from Ireland, and I have other parts of Irish in the rest of my grandparents.

Yes, I'm a proud Irish gal!
