When we were in elementary school we played that game in computer class to help us w/ our American history.

In college, my boyfriend found his old Apple ][ and set it up in his dorm. We would play Oregon Trail for hours. His roomate was always one of my kids - poor Dave. He'd get dysentary, snake bites, broken arms...he eventually died, hehe.

When Dave bought his SNES to the room, I made a bet that I could clear all 96 states of Super Mario World in less than a week (meaning finding all the hidden worlds, all the special stages, etc). I won that bet easily

My fav old game is Burger Time! Does anyone else remember this? Also, does anyone know where I could find this game on the internet? Thanks!

Also, I loved Oregon Trail when I was in elementary school! The old, 41/2" disks on the Apple computers... it was great!

Wait..Burger Time?? Was it the Nintendo game where you had the jump-pad thingy where you had to race w/the orders coming through and jump on the 'food' for it to be put on the burger??
I put that on my previous post as Fastfood, I wasn't sure what the name was of it.

Hey, I still have mine, I'll be willing to sell it to ye, heh.

I played my old Nintendo until it finally died a couple years back.
-Excitebike
-Contra (my brother and I could play that for hours, even though we had beaten it about a million times)

I go to the used game shop now, and no one except us (the people who were actually around when they came out) are looking for the old NES at all.

It wasn't a Nintendo game.... we never had a Nintendo (I know, I'm deprived) I think it might have been for Atari or something else, it was really, really old.

You would have to walk up ladders and across the different parts of the burger, bottom bun, lettuce, burger, etc. Condiments would chase you and you have to "hit" them with pepper.... it's great!

one of my friends from elementary school had that game. and no it wasn't nitendo. it had this funky handheld keypad. it reminded me of a phone or tv remote if i remember right.

i think i saw it as an arcade game once too.
