anyway there are plenty of songs out there that have ridiculous lines..
i just happen to be reading the booklet from my mariah carey cd. i do like her once i get past her songs' redundancy. her song 'boy' has this line that gets on my nerves, "...my heart races when my motorola beeps or my cell phone rings" i think songs are so corny when they include stuff about your cell phones, beepers, and two way pagers..
while we are still on that song, there is another line, "i am gonna wrap you up" the line itself may not be weird, but it is when the same line is in about 5 of her songs!

or how about britney spears' "email my heart" email?!

OMG, sg2! When I read what you wrote I had this flashback of Homecoming 1987 when I insisted that a football player do "the lift" with me! I approached him too fast and we were both three sheets to the wind, so we toppled over backwards, he hit his shoulder on a table and I landed quite forcefully on his chest. Ow!
