Officially, Alpha Sigma Phi's symbol (it's not called a mascot) is the mythical Phoenix rising from the ashes, symbolic of the time when the original mother chapter at Yale died and a little college in Ohio (Marietta College) kept the fraternity going until Alpha Chapter's rebirth in 1907.

Re: What's Your GLO's Mascot??
Alpha Phi Omega has 3 'living' symbols: the Sturdy Oak, the Forget-me-not, and the Golden Eagle, but we have no official Mascot. There are some unofficial ones out there in certain sections/regions of the fraternity.

Chapter-Lady Bugs
Beta Sigma Phi: National- the torch, the strawberry, and Stix Bears (regular teddy bears that travel all over the world to visit different chapters)
Chapter- some chapters use Winnie the Pooh since our colors are yellow and black and the national mascot is a teddy bear.
