Only 13 DAYS!!! - Page 2

I had mentioned in a previous thread how my Grandmother was a Chi Omega from the Pi Epsilon chapter and how I was so excited that she might have been coming to my initiation. Well. . . sad news, she can't come because of geographical issues (she's in Indiana, I'm in Georgia, flights aren't cheap). Anyway, I am majorly bummed.

Which brings me to point number 2. I have the best GM in the whole wide world. I was almost crying tonight during our meeting when my pledge sisters were talking about who was coming to watch them get initiated and later on I went to talk to my GM. Anyway, she is so wonderful because as I sobbed about my grandmother not being able to come, she hugged me and cried with me. This is why I love being a Chi Omega, and this is why I am so excited to be official in just 2 days. Because I am becoming sisters with the most amazing people I have met in my whole life, that I will be so proud to say that they are my sisters. The fact that my GM cried with me when I was so upset just touched me so much. Wow, although I wish my grandmother could be there, I can't even explain how excited I am to be part of the Chi Omega sisterhood. Y'all it's day after tomorrow. . . holy cow I am excited.

While it is sad your grandma can't make it, what is so great is that she's been through it, so you can share it anyway! And I am sure she can't wait to sit in a room with you and go over everything. You'll probably help her jog her memory on some things she may have forgotten over time! Congratulations, have fun, pay attention, and ENJOY!!!!!!!

It was nice and I am so excited to be a full sister. Now, if only I had a date to my party tonight....
