I am doing very well on my diet. I will not reveal my weight for fear of receiving the label "beasty" which will make me sad.

I will freely admit to being a fat pig right now. I am not sure what the big deal is about admitting we might be out of shape?
The first step to recovery is admitting we have a problem right?

Please. Unless you're 3'6", 125 is not beasty. MAYBE overweight (depending on your body type, height, blah blah blah), but not beasty.
Hell, I'm at 145/150-ish, but I'm 5'7". If you go by numbers alone, and 125 is beasty, I must be Jabba the Hutt. Clothes-wise, though, I'm a size 8. My thin-as-a-rail sister (5'9" and a size 3) weighs 120. Weight is totally relative.
Besides, beasty should be reserved for something like hairy man boobs. I may have a tummy, but at least I will NEVER have hairy man boobs.
Y'all are rockin' on your diets. I've been very good so far this week - worked out every day, stayed around 1200 calories, and I refuse to weigh myself since our scale's so messed up - but I'm going to Niagara this weekend for my friend's birthday. If I make it through this weekend without going too out of control, I'll be impressed.

Yeah! This thread rocks! Good luck to all of you out there!
I'm going to jump on the train with this weight-loss support....yes, it was my NYR too. My diet, I mean, healthy-eating plan, started before the new year, but resolutions are always good to make. I'm trying to do it without resorting to some of my more risky diet techniques of the past.
So what flavors of the Slimfast bars are edible??

I like the toasted oats and spice (tastes like maple and brown sugar oatmeal..) and the milk chocolate peanut. The cookie-type ones are all a little too sweet for me, but my sister loves those. Wal-Mart has a store brand version that tastes the same...I tried one bar each of those until I found the ones I liked the best. They're all fairly edible, though.

bad weekend...
I should've known it was going to be a rough weekend for dieting when I had already been drunk and sobered up by 7 pm on Friday...had the company party Friday evening, then went to Niagara for the rest of the weekend. I ate a lot more than I should, but with all things considered, my "binge" was probably less than I used to eat/drink in a normal day last year, let alone on a weekend. Not that I'm rationalizing, since I still ate more than I should've, but having one gin and tonic and two pieces of pizza on a "binge" is coming a long way from the six pack of beer and Denny's days. I need to stop being so hard on myself sometimes, I swear. Anyhow, I'm right back on the diet. I found these Ethnic Gourmet frozen dinners on sale last week - they have the same amount of calories as a lot of the Lean Cuisines and are much more exciting to eat. This one's an Indian vegetable dish...it's spicy, which I love, AND has like 120% of your vitamin A, 15% of your iron, 26% of your dietary fiber, etc. Makes Lean Cuisines seem boring in comparison.
