That's exactly what I meant by brutal.
Indy's D is one of the five worst in football - they looked like a bunch of Pop Warner 10 year olds out there, and have played crappy all year.
That said...I still think the Giants can pull it out...it'll still be one hell of a game regardless.

The officiating in the Giants/Eagles game has been brutal.
Two touchdowns taken away by very quetsionable holding calls.
To be fair, there have been some horrible calls against the Eagles too. In a game with as much importance as this, you'd think the officiating would at least be decent.
Jeremy Shockey rules.

Typical iggs-giants game. I think McNabb is needed if the eagles want to make it to the super bowl.

This is true - did you see that Kerry "don't call me Tom" Collins hadn't thrown a pass to a receiver other than Toomer in like 3 weeks before the second half of this game? That's a lot of production coming from one WR and your TE.
Anyway - messy fucking game, but the Giants definitely deserved the win, although it was nice to see ol' Tiki dropping the ball like he was Rashan Salaam, too bad Philly couldn't capitolize (AJ Feely . . . ugh)

Seriously..it was kinda funny, Chris Collinsworth was criticizing Collins for spreading out the ball to start the game...basically said he should stick with going to the big three (Toomer/Shockey/Barber).
Barber has had a pretty decent season so far (around 1300 yards), so I couldn't really fault him for having a bad game. He Toomer and Shockey had really nasty seasons though, best offensive seasons since the Joe Morris/Mark Bavaro days.

Well, I was wrong.
I misjudged the Giants ability to do the following:
Miss big field goals.
Stop the 49ers on defense
Get the offense going with a big lead.
Basically play like a playoff team.
I am so pis**d off right now I cannot describe it.
I hate the 49ers.

That result surprised the h*** out of me, especially since ol' Jeremy Shockey from Ada, Oklahoma, was big in the clutch, pretty Tiki Barber seemed effective and Kerry Collins was on his game.
I'm hoping for an all-Cali Super Bowl, although I'm a SoCal. But I'm intrigued by the Atlanta Vicks.

The Steelers got lucky, period. Unless they suddenly start playing well, there's no way they're going to the Superbowl. What is it about the city of Pittsburgh that puts them in a massive state of denial? As much as I love the Browns, most of Cleveland was shocked they were going to the playoffs. The Steelers win one game and you'd think they were god's gift to football. They almost lost to the Browns, and they almost lost to the Ravens in their last game of the season. Like they're going to make it past Tennessee.
