I usually ask St. Anthony for help as well. And I put myself in the place of the item. I ask "If I were my keys, where would I be...?"
(It doesn't really work, but it usually makes others laugh )

On a kind of related note, when I was little my mom would always say "Wouldn't you know that this (whatever she was looking for) is in the last place I'd look!".....I used to say that too when I was younger, once I got older though I realized well duh of course it is, b/c who keeps looking for it after they found it? Oh well.

My debate speech that I did pretty well in class on, I was planning on using the same speech tomorrow for the tournament. But guess what? It is NOWHERE to be found!
It's not even in the computers I used and I thought I saved it.
