J Lo sings about love but doesn't know what it is....what she needs to do is go solo for a while and find out what she really wants....she needs to quit thinking about getting some and chill...

I have lost all respect for J-Lo. I think that she has no respect for marraige vows. I see her on all the talk shows always saying how in love she is and then she breaks it off with the guy. The wedding with Ben will just be another chance for her to throw a couple million on a wedding dress etc.
I really think her newest song stinks"Jenny from the block."

I always wonder if these folks just do the marriage thing for the publicity? Or do they actually have feelings for eachother? I was always very skeptical about such media-covered relationships as Michael Jackson and Purcilla Presley, Justin Timberlake & Brittney Spears, etc...
It's all a show just to get free face time on the news.

My boyfriend grew up in the same section of the Bronx as Jennifer, although not at the same time so they never knew one another. He had a great idea - Why don't they turn in that HUGE pink $3.5 million diamond, get something a little less extravagant, maybe only $1 million (GASP!), and use some of that money to help fund some low-income housing or an after school program in the South Bronx! If "Jenny from the block" truly still remembers where she came from, maybe she should help them out in a way she didn't have!!! Just a thought...

That pink diamond was GORGEOUS and definetly enormous. But I agree that it's really going to waste. There's a good chance that they'll be divorced and onto new boyfriends/girlfriends shortly. Just one thought, if the engagement ring is $3.5 million and one of the rarest diamonds in the world, what is the wedding band going to look like?

That ring was gorgeous. My eyes near fell out. The way I look at it...JLo is human and if the poor girl made a mistake - then so be it. If she was a man, would it be such a big deal?
I still have a lot of respect for her. I saw the VH1 Driven special on her and she's overcome a lot of adversity. Literally rags to riches kind of gal. I can see why her and Ben are so in love. They have that in common.
I'll still support her as an artist. Actually, I'm really looking forward to seeing her next movie, Maid In Manhattan.

I think it would. If it were a man, everyone would be saying he has no regard for committment and that he's a player and a jerk. (example: look at the backlash against Tom Cruise when he left Nicole for Penelope Cruz...and that was only one divorce!).

the biggest problem i have is not that she is getting married for the 3rd time, but how FAST she does it. it's ridiculous.

Actually, it was Tom's second marriage. He was married to Mimi Rogers for a few years in the 1980s.. so this is his second divorce, Nicole's first (I think).

ok
On the real I don't think it will last long. If they have kids it might last about 3 years. But I doubt it.
J.Lo looked so FAKE to me when she was doing her fake laugh with Diane Sawyer. If you really think about it, what has been her longest relationship since she has been famous?
Puffy! The guy she never married! 2 years and some months.
Now I really do think the reason for this is that Puffy and J.Lo together always made them the talk of the town and J.Lo craves that. And not to hurt any of the Ben fans out there, but Ben isn't a MAJOR actor. He's big but not a Tom Cruise big. I really do think that if Tom Cruise or Denzel Washington came into her life she would dump Ben as faster than you can say "I'm real".
