On this Founders Day, I reflect to John 9:5:
Jesus said, "While I am in the world, I am the light of the world."
In following his perfect example, let us, too, as sorors of SIGMA GAMMA RHO make it our sacred mission to continue to be that BEACON OF LIGHT wherever the path leads us as a sisterhood.
In the words of the Apostle Paul, as a sorority, "this one thing we do: forgetting those things which are behind us, reaching for those things which are before us, we press on toward our prize--"
the realization of "greater service, greater progress", "a love that leads the way, the faith that nothing can dismay, the hope that no disappointments tire, and a passion that burns like fire"...
